Established in 2010 at the Hongqiao Campus, the Pioneer Curriculum focuses on the core philosophy of “integrating Chinese and Western cultures for harmonious development.” Building upon the high-quality implementation of the national curriculum, the programme features collaborative teaching by both local and foreign educators across multiple disciplines. This approach facilitates the development of students’ abilities in both Chinese and English while establishing a solid foundation across all subjects. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary thematic inquiry units designed to cultivate students’ innovative spirit and core competencies. Moreover, the programme tailors personalized and differentiated learning experiences across different subjects and grade levels. This approach equips students with the abilities necessary for diverse academic pathways and future growth.

The Pioneer Middle School is positioned with three goals: to help students participate in Huikao examination with competitiveness and acquire the ability to enter high-quality high schools; to help students develop comprehensively and healthily, and acquire the ability for lifelong learning; to help students maintain their English learning advantage and preserve the possibility of diverse choices in the future.
